Correlation is not Causation, I love this title.
People all over the economic spectrum are tempted by easy money access. In a low income neighborhood the lure of a couple hundred dollars till payday is tough to pass on if you are hungry or have a child in need.
Goldman Sachs seemed to have the same problem, it only took hundreds of billions to bring about a similar drive to pursue the money.
The financial destruction that follows the extremes is not all that different. The violence is not necessarily related. Only more visible because you are looking.

With how our economy is right now, we need payday lending establishments more than ever. A lot have lost their jobs and others have had a significant decrease in income. The government has bailed out multibillion companies with tax payer money, it is about time to put back the money to tax payers pockets. And putting restriction on payday lenders would be doing just the opposite.

It even goes farther than this you can never prove a positive in a scientific experiment - you can only prove a negative
