Believe it or not, there are other personal finance websites out there besides Econ4U.org and it’s important you use all the resources at your disposal.
I wanted to point you to one such site in particular, from the Federal Trade Commission. The site is called “Money Matters” (sound familiar?). The FTC has great resources including a Scam Watch that takes a useful look at a lot of the mortgage rescue scams that are abounding right now.
The site also has a bunch of short, practical tips and links to reliable information on credit repair, debt collection, vehicle repossession and more.
So take a look. (But don’t forget about your friends at Econ4U!)
